Who this applies to

This notice is for job applicants and candidates who apply to USP Management, Inc. ("USP," "we," "us") through our Career Portal or recruiting process.

It does not apply to our customers, vendors, or general website visitors.

What we collect

Contact details

Name, address, email, phone number.

Professional background

Resume, cover letter, work history, education, certifications, licenses, references.

Application records

Your answers to application questions, interview notes, evaluations, assessment results.

Work authorization

Confirmation of your legal right to work in the United States, and visa or immigration details where a role involves sponsorship.

Voluntary self-identification

Where offered, information such as race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or disability status.

Screening results

Background or reference check results, where applicable and only after your separate written authorization.

A note on voluntary data

Self-identification is entirely optional.

It is used only for equal employment opportunity recordkeeping and reporting. It is stored separately from your application materials and plays no part in hiring decisions.

Please do not include sensitive personal information beyond what we ask for.

How we use it

Evaluate your qualifications for the role you applied for, and for other openings that fit your background

Communicate with you, schedule interviews, and answer your questions

Verify the information you provide, including employment eligibility

Make hiring decisions and prepare an offer

Maintain records required under federal, state, and local employment law

Protect the security and integrity of our systems

Human decisions

Hiring decisions at USP are made by our People & Culture team and hiring managers.

Our applicant tracking system may use automated features to organize or rank applications. A team member reviews every application before any decision is made, and no candidate is rejected solely on an automated result.

Who we share it with

Service providers

Our applicant tracking and HR platform, plus background screening or assessment vendors where used. All are contractually bound to protect your information and use it only for the services they perform for us.

Professional advisors

Outside legal counsel, including immigration counsel for sponsored roles.

Affiliates

Other companies in our corporate group, where the role or evaluation involves them.

Government agencies

Where required by law, regulation, or legal process.

How long we keep it

We retain application materials for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including consideration for future openings, and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations.

If you are hired, your application materials become part of your employment record and follow our records retention schedule.

How we protect it

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect candidate information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Access is limited to personnel who need it to carry out the recruiting process.

Your choices

Applying is voluntary — though we may not be able to consider your application without the required information.

You can ask us to update or correct your information, or remove your profile from consideration, at any time. Contact us using the details on the final page.

We will honor your request except where the law requires us to retain records.

California residents

For California residents, this notice serves as our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

The categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use them, and our retention periods are described in the sections above.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

You may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
